Ang from Bindigenous
My name is Ang. I am an Aboriginal Women of the Gamilaroi and Dunghutti Nations living on Darkinjung country on the Central Coast NSW.
During the COVID19 pandemic I was bored enough to paint my bins. It became evident that many people all over the world liked them and here we are! When Bindigenous turned one year old she was gifted a Registered Trademark. Now Bindigenous is three years old and has sold bin stickers all over the world including London, New Zealand, Canada, Hawaii, Alaska, and Germany.
I discovered I became more waste aware after having my bins look beautiful and actively reduced the amount of waste I had to get rid of.
My goal is to create more awareness regarding how much waste we create and have others also work toward actively reducing it.
